STM Soccer Club is bringing back the Boars head hoagie sale. This tradition was the main fundraiser for our club until
COVID struck in 2020. In honor of Monsignor Murphy, the club is bring the fundraiser back. This year’s hoagie sale will
take place on Saturday, April 24, 2024. For over 20 years, the STM Soccer Club has donated over 8,000 hoagies to
those in need at local shelters in Allentown, Bethlehem, and even in New Jersey communities affected by Hurricane
Sandy years ago. This Hoagie Sale is also a great way for all of STM Soccer to come together once a year…this was one
of Monsignor Murphy's favorite events held by soccer club, for he loved coming to the Hoagie making day and interacting
with everyone in our club! Other clubs have weekend-long tournaments and/or charge a lot more for registration. This
fundraiser not only builds a stronger community, but it allows us to continue to offset all of our expenses. The Hoagie Sale
is the only mandatory spring fundraiser that the Soccer Club performs and is extremely important to the fiscal health of
our club. It is the reason our registrations are much less than other clubs, the reason we are able to provide travel teams
with stipends, and how we purchase equipment, and pay for field maintenance, among other things. 100% participation is
expected!

Hoagie Sales:

As in the past, we are asking each player to sell a minimum of 15 hoagies per person. The price for a hoagie will be $9.00
each. If you are not able to sell at least 15 hoagies, you must contribute $3.50 for each hoagie not sold (the approximate
amount the club earns for each hoagie sold). Player buy-out option is available at $50.00 per player. We will be using
freshly-sliced Boar’s Head Brand Deli Products and bread baked fresh that morning, so please make sure that your child
lets each customer know the hoagies will be made with high quality, fresh ingredients.

Here is a summary of your hoagie sale options:
● Sell (a minimum of) 15 hoagies @ $9.00 each, or
● Sell less than 15 and contribute $3.50 for each unsold hoagie (no participation requires minimum of $50.00 for
each player), or
● Contribute $5.50 for each unsold hoagie, and for each $5.50 contribution, a hoagie will be made and donated to a
local food bank. (This option is listed on the order form as a “Donated” hoagie)
This needs to be done for each child in the program, not each family…get them selling instead of writing a check,
and please keep children’s hoagie sales with their teams…do not place one child’s sales in with a sibling’s team.
Volunteering is Needed and Expected!

Making over 3000 hoagies on “Hoagie Day” requires the assistance of over 100 parent volunteers. We need your help!

Hoagie Form Prep-Sunday, April 21, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. (PLC multi-purpose room) Pizza & Drinks provided for volunteers.

Hoagie-Prep-Organize -Saturday, April 27, 6:00 – 9:00 a.m. (most needed here!) Coffee & Donuts provided for volunteers.

Gym & Kitchen Clean-up -Saturday, April 27, 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. Coffee & Donuts provided for volunteers.

ONE FAMILY MEMBER PER FAMILY IS EXPECTED TO VOLUNTEER UNLESS THEY ARE COACHING OR ARE THE TEAM MANAGER!
